Membership token for the Knights of the Maccabees of the World, a fraternal organization founded in Ontario in the late 1800s. Later the group moved to Buffalo New York. Its primary purpose became providing affordable insurance to its members. It was bought out by an insurance company in the 1990s. This is a used token, proving the membership of one Jno. Z. Twitchell of New York, member #698.
